I have been working on my project
for four years and it looks as if the butterflies are going to win
big. This whole project was born out of music, so let me explain: In June
of 1993 I was feeling rather depressed about the state of the world. We
had just come out of 12 years of Reagan and Bush doldrums, and I felt the
need for music to brighten my spirits. Every project I worked on was inspired
by the music of the '60's, and yes, even the '70's. At that time I hadn't
worked on aproject for 12 years. So one day I thought about bringing music
back to my life. The next day I came home and the songs just began to pour
out and I began making a new tape. It just mystically began to come together
and two hours later I had my music and a new tape. I soon began feeling
great again. The music was inspiring me. Two months later, I found myself
ina butterfly garden with hundreds of brightly colored butterflies fluttering
freely all about. It was like a scene right pout of Alice in Wonderland.
When I got back in my car and and turned on the stereo, it all suddenly
snapped together. It was always in the music, in the art, in the literature,
in dance, and in our hearts. It was already out there in the universe,
all this time, and the butterflies were to communicate that message to
the world with peace, and love, and humility. To understand the whole story
read the paper entitled Butterfly Magic and the Moody Blues. Hear this
plea and soon we will all be standing around in wonderment with big grins
on our faces and love just oozing out of our hearts and on to Mother Earth.
It's been a long time coming, so let's seize the moment. Help let it be,
let it be.
Love
and Peace
