Woodstock Nation
Constitutional Convention
And Emergency Public Hearing
Convention Committee Report by Daniel Francis Eggink

August 9th, 2000 in Bethel, Sullivan County, New York

The first purpose of this assembly is to enforce the Constitution of the United States as the supreme law of the land which protects first amendment rights of Roy Howard and his wife, Jeryl Abramson, to host friends and neighbors in an act of free public assembly.

The second purpose is to petition the administration of the Town of Bethel, the Legislature of Sullivan County, the Governor and the Legislature of the State of New York and the President and Legislators of the United States of America for redress of grievances due to damages created under color of local, state and federal laws which violate the fundamental sovereign rights of each citizen and inhabitant of Bethel, New York, who gather every August for the reunion of the Woodstock Nation .

The Convention continues: Top on the agenda is the repeal of all laws concerning cultivation, possession, sales and use of the hemp plant (Marijuana).

The speakers allege that since 1936 the legislators of  New York State and the United States of America have passed deceiving legislation to sweep away every American citizen's inalienable right to cultivate and use this valuable economic plant when there was no evidence of legislative necessity.

The speakers are petitioning the President of the United States and the Governor of the State of New York for executive pardon for all who are imprisoned for cultivation, possession or sales of hemp (marijuana).

The speakers asserted that the Supreme Courts of New York State and the United States have erred in not recognizing the inalienable rights of the sovereign citizen to this native plant by ignoring the ancient therapeutic and utilitarian value of the hemp plant and have caused massive pain and economic destruction to be inflicted on the population of the United States through the imprisonment, confiscation of property and removal of children from parents.

Abigail Storm in white hat being arrested for trespassing
at 1969 Woodstock Festival Site in Bethel, New York

Daniel Eggink and Abigail Storm, two members of the Woodstock Nation Foundation board of trustees, were arrested and charged with trespass as they defended the public's right to assemble on that property.

Eggink and Storm knew that June Gelish, the last alleged owner of record, was prohibited by a court order from the Brooklyn Surrogate Court  from selling or transferring the historic Woodstock property. Yet, according to deposition filed by Darrell Supak, in July, 1996, June Gelish and billionaire Alan Gerry secretly entered into a unlawfull agreement to form Gelish Realty, L.L.C. a corporation formed in the State of Delaware. Eggink and Storm believe Supak intended to evade the restraining order of the Brooklyn Surrogate Court and create a false chain of title in order to deceive the public and sweep away its right to be there.

New York State Law is clear. "A contract founded on fraud is void."

Since it appears that Gelish Realty, L.L.C., was formed to commit a fraud it is an unlawfull enterprise and any contract entered into by that Delaware corporation is void.

In July, 1996, according to the Sullivan County Real Estate Tax Record office, June Gelish, in violation of the restraining order, transferred the property from herself to herself as President of Gelish Realty, L.L.C., for no amount of money, . She gave her home address in Brooklyn as the corporate office.

In April, 1997, June Gelish died (without a will) and Alan Gerry announced to the press he had bought the property from June Gelish for one million dollars.

However, Mr.Gerry and his company, Granite Associates, LP, have never produced any evidence such as a deed with his or his company's name on it, a contract of sale, a canceled check or even a letter of promise related to lawfully acquiring the Woodstock property from June Gelish, Gelish Reality, L.L.C. or any one else.
