Will you take a mark or number,
on you forhead or your hand
and ignore the words of
Jesus
to make a living in this land.
Does your hope depend on
money, giving faith no place to start
or will you stand upon the
promise leading captives from the dark
Let's take a look at
history. It's smarter than a crystal ball.
It shows that pride in progress
is the signal for a fall.
The
Roman law of vengeance lifts its sword above our heads,
saying, "Take this mark
and number or tomorrow you'll be dead".
The choice is hard in this
latter day when the doctors have so much to say.
But as for me, I'll just
say no, and wait for Jesus
and the final show.
