PUBLIC STATEMENT

Our purpose is to see that the historic  37.5 acre Woodstock Festival site in Bethel, New York, is kept open unfenced and undeveloped.
And to protect the public easement which is the personal right of every member of the public to peaceably visit the site day or night without seeking permission from anybody. The public easement was created by the public's continuous open and obvious exclusive use for more than 20 years.

The day Alan Gerry and the Bethel Town Government admit that there is a public easement and they have erred and wrongfully prosecuted 6 people for trespass is the day the healing will begin.

Such an admission will win global respect and admiration because rarely do the  powerful admit error.

Visitors will be flocking to Sullivan County year round to see what's going on and many small businesses will prosper.

The PAC project could still happen though not on the Woodstock site and Alan Gerry, GF entertainment, Allen Scott and the Bethel Town Government would be free of the taint of corruption resulting from their methods so far.

Concerning the PAC we suggest it be built on the Corner of 17B and Hurd Road because it is the place where loading and unloading cars and buses would cause the least traffic conjestion.

Building the PAC on that property would rightly lead to the development
of a tastful landscaped commercial corridor along 17B which already has a right of way for a 4 lane road. Such a road development is necessary to the economic future of this county.

That property also abuts the rear of the Woodstock property and a charming walk through the woods to the site would be a novel attraction. Electric cars could shuttle the elderly and disabled along the same path.

Alan Gerry already owns enough property to park 100,000 cars nearby.

The Constitution of the United States was written because history has revealed that you cannot trust and expect the rich and powerful to govern righteously.
